Ben Glassman is a marketing, finance, and strategy leader with deep roots in the veterinary profession, having grown up in his family’s practice. Before co-founding BVH, Ben spent seven years in marketing leadership and commercial growth roles in the technology and financial services sectors, then earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. A NAVC Certified Veterinary Business Leader (CVBL), Ben has served as a consultant to companies across the veterinary ecosystem, advising on practice operations, marketing, and growth strategy.
Ben started Brookville Veterinary Health to help veterinarians become practice owners and to support the development of local, relationship-driven, independent practices in New England.
He lives in Boston with his wife and his dog Louie.

Dr. Peter Glassman, DVM is the former Owner & Director of Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, D.C., the country’s largest independent practice at the time of its sale in 2020. Friendship provided primary, specialty and emergency/critical care to dogs and cats.
In 2001, Dr. Glassman founded VetInsite, one of the first veterinary client communication softwares. The company was sold in 2007 and is, today, owned by Covetrus and branded as VetStreet.
Dr. Glassman is also a co-founder of VANE, the Veterinary Angel Network for Entrepreneurs, alongside three other veterinarians. VANE is an angel investing network that provides direction, connection, and funding for early-stage ventures in the animal health industry.
Dr. Glassman earned his DVM from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
